President Yoweri Museveni has fully re-opened the Economy while addressing the Nation with his End of Year 2021 message at his home in Rwakitura.
“Pre-primary and secondary schools will be open for learners starting on the 10th of January 2022,” says the President.
This will automatically give some relief to both learners and parents for the two years learners have been at home.
The President has opened the transport sector as well but on condition that all travellers above the age of 18 should fully be vaccinated to access these means.
Cinema halls and sports events have also been opened, Performing Arts, concerts and bars will start operating two weeks after schools have resumed studies following Standard Operation Procedures.
Curfew has fully been lifted for ugandans with due effect apart from Boda bodas who will continue to observe curfew time.
The President has encouraged Ugandans to be responsible for there lives by following all Standard Operation Procedures, from sanitising, wearing masks, though some measures will be revised if Covid-19 Cases increase.
Uganda has been under lockdown following up the Covid—19 Pandemic which has affected many sectors of the Economy so badly from schools, Bars, Performing Arts, Businesses, sports, among others.
